Numbers Show COVID-19 Uptick In Alexander County

COVID-19 is not behind us. Alexander County has reported 17 new cases in the last 10 days according to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,429 cases have been counted in Alexander County. As of 5pm Thursday, five (5) county citizens were in a hospital with COVID-19 associated symptoms.

86 deaths related to the coronavirus

12,908 citizens have been vaccinated

Catawba County reported their 309th COVID death on Thursday
