An Alexander County man listing a Granite Falls address was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday. 59-year-old Rubin Lawrence Jones of Icard Ridge RD., was served a fugitive warrant from the state of Texas in connection with an assault. He was also charged with resisting arrest. Jones was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center.
