Stony Point Man Arrested Again For Violating His Registered Sex-Offender Status

A convicted sex-offender from Stony Point is now facing five felony counts involving his registered sex-offender status. He’s also charged with felony high-risk online violation.

Michael Todd Everidge , 64, of Lindsey Farm Road, Stony Point was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on August 18th. As previously reported, Everidge was charged on July 24th on a charge of failure to register with law enforcement as a registered sex-offender. The infractions and the latest charges are related to Everidge establishing an online account which is restricted per his conviction.

Everidge was convicted in 2025 for second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Court records indicate he was given a 36-month suspended sentence in Iredell County Superior Court.

Everidge has four felony probation violations pending as well and remains in the Iredell County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $335,000.
