Additional charges have been filed in the ongoing murder investigation which occurred on Saturday, March 9th at 109 Home Drive near Mooresville.
Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives continued the investigation into the murders. Statements obtained from witnesses indicated there were three suspects observed leaving the scene, one of whom was Justin Strawser. Detectives executed search warrants at Home Drive and at the residence on Ostwalt Amity Road where they collected numerous items of evidence including electronic devices, firearms, and DNA.
As a result of this investigation and the evidence obtained, investigators determined two of the four juveniles inside the home on Ostwalt Amity Road had accompanied Justin Strawser to Home Drive and were involved in the homicides. Investigators also determined another one of the juveniles had fired shots at deputies during the standoff.
Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Investigators have charged three male juveniles, ages 17, 15, and 15. Two of the juveniles are being held in South Carolina, and the third is being held in a juvenile detention facility here in North Carolina, awaiting upcoming juvenile court proceedings. These new charges come after an extensive investigation by Iredell County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators. This investigation has now concluded with these charges.
