Stewart Brandon Mullins, 47 of Taylorsville, was arrested Wednesday evening by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mullins was also served a felony warrant for probation violation from Iredell County. The suspect is serving a 36 month suspended sentence from earlier this year for possession of a firearm by a felon from Alexander County. Mullins was released in March after serving 46 months in state prison for the same offense, possession of a firearm by a felon. As of earlier today, Mullins remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.
