Jonathan Avery Blatch, age 30, of 1st Street SE in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police on Tuesday. He’s charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. No details have been released. Blatch was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center Wednesday morning under no bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
