Devon Shelton Farris
Around 6:20 a.m. on Friday, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Devon Shelton Farris of Vale . He is charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, assault on a female and crime of domestic violence. Farris has a criminal history that includes multiple convictions for both felony and misdemeanor crimes. He served more than two-years in prison as result of a 2023 conviction in Lincoln County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Other convictions include felony larceny of a motor vehicle, speed to elude arrest and identity theft.
Farris remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
