On September 12th, a mistrial was declared after a jury failed to reach a verdict. The trial had lasted for a month. Clary was freed on a $1 million dollar bond, the same bond he was granted prior to the trial. On October 10th Clary was returned to jail after testing positive for methamphetamine. His bond was revoked at that time pending the bond hearing today.
At the hearing this afternoon, the judge allowed Clary a bond at a new amount of $1.5 million dollars and also increased his curfew restrictions should he make the new bond. Clary remains in the Alexander County Detention Center in leau of the new bond figure.
