West Alexander Middle School was recognized on Tuesday in Greensboro at a conference luncheon held by the North Carolina Middle Level Education (NCMLE) Association as a “School to Watch”.
Less that 50 middle schools across the state have received this distinction since 2003. Recognized schools display Academic Excellence, Developmental Responsiveness, Social Equity, and Organizational Structures and Processes. The school will be recognized in June in Washington, DC as a “School To Watch” by the National Forum To Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform at the 15th Annual “Schools to Watch” Conference.
