Troutman Woman Jailed After Stabbing Incident

On Sunday, May 5th, Law Enforcement was called to Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville where a female had arrived with a stab wound to her back. The victim reported that she had been stabbed during an altercation earlier in the day at Sheetz, located at 1023 Charlotte Highway in Troutman.

During the investigation, it was found that the suspect was Kisha Dawn Terry, 43, of Overcash Road, Troutman. A warrant for Terry’s arrest was obtained for the charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury. Terry was located by Deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody.

After being handed over to Troutman Police, Terry was taken before a magistrate where she was ordered held with no bond until she could appear before a District Court judge.
