Branon Wayne Bishop
Branon Wayne Bishop, 47, of Holly Springs Loop, Troutman, was arrested Monday.
On Sunday, June 4, the ICSO received a report regarding a juvenile who had been sexually assaulted. The investigation was assigned to Special Victims Unit Detective C. James.
Based on all of the evidence obtained during the investigation, Detective James obtained felony warrants charging Bishop with four counts of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Child.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred between April and June at a location in southern Iredell County, according to the news release.
Bishop was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond $300,000.
