March 14, 2024 By Richard C. Gilbert

Taylorsville Town Manager Aaron Wike has requested that he returns to his previous position as Director of Public Works. Wike held the position prior to his accepting the Town Manager position in 2023.

Wike said today that he has discussed the request with board members and Mayor George Holloman. Wike says that he “would like to take a deep breath and return to the job that has not been filled since I left.”

The Town Board has announced a Special Called Meeting for Monday, March 18th at 9am. A press release said the purpose of the meeting will be discussion on placement of an Interim Manager for the Town.
