Taylorsville Police Arrest Woman On Friday

Taylorsville Police arrested 61-year old Sherry Dean Chapman of Stony Point on Friday and charged her with a series of offenses.

Chapman was cited for misdemeanor larceny and second-degree trespass. She was also charged with possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, assault on a government official, and resisting a public officer. As of Monday morning, Chapman remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $7,500.
