The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 59-year-old James Eric Foxx, Mountain Ridge Church Road, Taylorsville. He was taken into custody on Friday and charged with felony fraud-obtaining property by false pretense and felony worthless check. The alleged charges involve the amount of over $19,000. Foxx is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $30,000.
