The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year old Andrew Ray Jonas of Kate White Road, Taylorsville on Monday. He was served warrants for a series of failure to appear counts. The charges include felony larceny, felony hit and run with personal injury, felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony breaking and entering a place of worship, violation of habitual felon status and felony possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Jonas was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000. July 10th is listed as a scheduled court date in Newton.
