Taylorsville Man Facing Felony Drug Offense

52-year old Richard Eric Singlestad of Taylorsville was arrested on Thursday, May 25th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony possession of schedule II control substance. He is no longer listed as an inmate in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Singlestad has a pending series of charges dating back to January. He was then charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver methamphetamine, felony trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

A trial date is scheduled for June 5th.
