Malcolm Malik Stewart
Stewart was stopped by a State Trooper for an outstanding warrant for assault on a female. County Deputies arrived and according to an arrest report, Stewart resisted arrest. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of methamphetamine while being processed at the Alexander County Detention Center.
Stewart is being held in jail for assault on a female, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises, and resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $40,000 was set. Stewart is scheduled to make a Monday court appearance.
