Citizens in the Ellendale Community woke up groping in the dark this morning as the result of a power outage. A mainline issue was reported along Highway 127 around 5am. Duke Energy crews responded and service was restored around 7:30am. Ellendale Elementary Schools was in the dark as the result of the outage.
