
Amari Rayvon Matos
20-year old Amari Rayvon Matos was charged by Taylorsville Poice after he led Officers on a chase with speeds exceeding 130 miles per hour. He crashed the stolen vehicle in Iredell County and after medical treatment was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $150,000.
On Thursday, the Harnett County, NC Sheriff’s Office, filed charges against Matos for two counts of attempted first-degree murder and a charge of felony conspiracy to commit murder.
Matos along with others are considered suspects in a reported drive-by shooting where over 100 shots were fired into a residence. According to a media report,there were no injuries and the shooting was considered gang related.
With the new charges, bond for Matos is set at $1,150,000.
