A 48-year-old Hudson man is facing felony charges following his arrest by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. Timothy Shawn Byrd of Joplin Road was charged with attempted larceny and possession of stolen property. According to court documents, on July 24, Byrd allegedly stole a commercial HVAC unit from South Caldwell High School. The item has a listed value of $350,000. Byrd was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center under $75,000 secured bond. His next court date is scheduled for September 16 in Lenoir.
