Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 33-year old Joe Clifford Tipps of Lawndale on Friday, June 16th. He was served warrants from Catawba County for failure to appear. Tipps has a number of previous charges pending in Catawba County that include possession of a firearm by a felon, felony first-degree burglary, felony breaking and entering to terrorize or injure and violations of his habitual felon status. Tipps as of earlier today remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
