A Conover man has been taken into custody for felony possession of a motor vehicle. 26 year old Marcus Gunnar McDowell was arrested by Hickory Police on a warrant from Burke County. Mcdowell was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. He is scheduled to appear on the Burke County charge on November 11th. McDowell has a court date of October 22nd for felony possession of methamphetamine in Alexander County.
