Man Charged With Assaulting Deputy In Alexander County

A Bethlehem resident was arrested on Saturday, May 20th after Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a reported disturbance.

64-year old Tony Ray Bolick was charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, two counts of resisting arrest and simple assault. Deputies deployed a taser according to the arrest report.

Bolick has been released under a secured bond of $10,000 and is scheduled to make an Alexander County District Court appearance on July 10th.
