Hiddenite Woman Charged With Felony Fraud

Dana Denise Garr, age 40 of Hiddenite, was arrested on Friday May 26th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with fraud-felony obtaining property by false pretense. She was released under a secured bond of $20,000 with an appearance scheduled for Alexander County District Court on Monday, June 5th.

Garr has previous pending charges awaiting trial on July 17th in Alexander County Superior Court for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II and III controlled substances, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
