Hiddenite Man Arrested By Alexander County Deputies

A Hiddenite man is facing charges following his arrest on Tuesday.

33-year old Jonathan Stuart Smith was taken taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. The charges include two counts of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny after breaking and entering, misdemeanor larceny and resisting a public officer. Smith is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $75,000. A Monday, January 22nd court date is set for Alexander County District Court.
