Hickory Police arrested a man this morning on a series of felony charges. 35 year old Jonathan Lewis Hurst of Hickory was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, and maintaining a dwelling or place for controlled substance. Hurst was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $32,000. He will appear before a judge today in Newton.
