Granite Falls Man Busted For Trafficking Meth

On Tuesday, May 6th, a Narcotics Operation was conducted by the Caldwell County Sheriff Office and the Lenoir Police Department. The joint operation resulted in a large seizure of narcotics and the arrest of a Methamphetamine Trafficker. The month long investigation culminated in the arrest of 31-year old Jamison Paul Oxford of Granite Falls. During the investigation, Narcotic Agents seized approximately 800 grams of Methamphetamine and two firearms. The Methamphetamine has a street value of $120,000.

Oxford is charged with two counts of Felonious Trafficking of Methamphetamine. If convicted, Oxford faces mandatory prison time.

Oxford was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $300,000 secured bond.
