On Wednesday April 10th, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence off Millersville Road in reference to a breaking, entering and larceny. The homeowners had a hidden camera in the garage area. The camera recorded a male and female loading items into a vehicle and leaving the scene. The video was posted on social media. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office received a tip to the identity of the two suspects.
On Thursday, April 11th, Deputies arrested Jackie Lynn Sharpe, age 55 of Granite Falls, for one count of breaking and entering and one count of larceny after breaking and entering. Jackie Sharpe was placed in custody under a $7,500 secured bond with a first appearance in District Court on April 15th. Dennis Lynn Sharpe, age 56 of Granite Falls, is charged with two counts of breaking & entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of a controlled substance. Dennis Sharpe was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $41,500 secured bond with a first appearance in District Court on April 15th.
