Alexander Central hosted South Caldwell Friday night in Taylorsville.

Burdened with the loss of two starters who missed the game due to injuries, the Lady Cougars struggled to find the bottom the net.
South Caldwell had issues shooting as well but their 30 percent out-paced the 22 percent shooting nite for ACHS.
Lillie Bumgarner led South with 17 points and 14 rebounds. AC was without a player in double figures. Sydney Hayes and Hallie Jarrett had 6 each.
Alexander Central falls to 17-5 and 3-5 in Northwestern Conference play. South is now 10-12 and 1-7.

Avery Cook had 28 points (22 in the first half) and the Cougars got pay-back from a loss to South Caldwel in January.
Chad Lasher had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars. Lawson Wilks was the top scorer for South with 12.
ACHS improves to 15-6 on the season and 6-2 in league play. South is 12-12 and 3-5.
