Chapman Switches Party Affiliation

First term Alexander County Clerk of Court Edwin Chapman announced Tuesday evening that he switching party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

Chapman was elected in November, 2020 as a Democrat. He made the announcement while addressing the June Meeting of the Alexander County Republican Party.
