Caldwell County Man Jailed For Abducting Child

A Lenoir man has been charged in connection to the abduction of a child.

57-year-old Ruben Alfredo Alejo Jr was arrested on Monday, September 23rd by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies. He was charged with one felony count of child abduction. Alejo was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $40,000 secured bond. No other details have been released.
