Alexander County Medication Take Back Event Set For Friday

March 19, 2024 By Richard C. Gilbert

Safe Kids Alexander County is partnering with local law enforcement to host a medication take-back event at the Alexander County Senior Center. This event will be this Friday, March 22nd from 10:00am until 1:00pm in the Senior Center’s parking lot.

The public is invited to drive thru and drop off any unused, unwanted, or expired medications to have them safely and securely disposed of.

#OperationMedicineDrop provides safe and secure ways for people to get rid of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications — preventing accidental poisonings and drug abuse while protecting our waters!
