Alexander County Has Spot Reserved For Governor’s Page Program

May 28, 2024 By Richard C. Gilbert

The NC Governor’s Page Program has reserved a spot for an Alexander County youth to participate in this wonderful opportunity to make connections and gain practical experience in government. Founded in 1973, the Governor’s Page Program gives high school students from all over North Carolina the opportunity to come to Raleigh for a week of hands-on participation in their state government. Pages grow in four areas: history, civics, service, and professional development. Participants receive a $200 stipend to compensate for any costs associated with the program. If you know an ideal candidate please have them apply here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/govpage.
