ACHS Alum Makes Strides As Freshman Swimmer

Jaycie Knight of Taylorsville finished her freshman season at UNC Pembroke with a strong showing at the Sun Coast Swim Conference Meet. Knight and her team mates brought home the teams first trophy in team history. Jaycie broke the school record for 50 Free and was on three relay teams that set new school records.

Knight is a 2018 graduate of Alexander Central High. She was named 3A/4A Conference Swimmer of the Year following senior campaign. Knight is the daughter of Gordon and Carmen Knight of Taylorsville.
