Catawba County Deputies Searching For Shooting Suspect

Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in Mtn View. This shooting occurred at a residence in the 3800 block of Hwy 127 South on the evening of Friday, December 13th. The victim in this case, an adult male, remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

The suspect, Chandler Montgomery Jackson, is wanted for one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Jackson, age 25, has not been located as of this release.
