Fox Spends First Day As New Alexander County Manager

New Alexander County Manager Shane Fox spent his first day on the job on Thursday.

The Alexander County Board of Commissioners announced in April that Fox would serve as the next county manager replacing Rick French who passed away in December, 2022.

Most recently Fox, a Caldwell County native was the Blowing Rock Town Manager. He is a graduate of Caldwell Community College and Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Accounting.
