Statesville Police says a woman was killed while walking on a sidewalk on Wednesday. The incident was reported on West Water Street.
73-year old Sandra Woodside Hager was killed when a female veered off the roadway in her pickup truck according to Police. Another female suffered injuries as well.
After hitting the two women, the driver left the scene and drove away. The pickup truck and the driver was spotted later. It’s not clear what charges have been filed.
