Wilkes County Couple Charged By Taylorsville Police

Ervin Andrew Billings, age 34 of Wilkesboro, was arrested by Taylorsville Police on June 29th and charged with two counts of larceny. He was also served arrest warrants from Wilkes County for felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, false imprisonment and assault on a female. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center where he remains as of earlier today with a secured bond of $105,000.

36-year old Rachel Louise Hicks of North Wilkesboro was arrested on June 29th by Taylorsville Police. She is charged with larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hicks has been released under a secured bond of $5,000. Her next court appearance in scheduled for August 14th.

Hicks has a previous charge pending in Wilkes County for shoplifting/concealment of goods. She is scheduled for court on that charge on July 5th.
