Turnovers and poor shooting will doom a basketball team, Alexander Central was guilty of both Wednesday night.
Central Davidson hit 18 three-point baskets enroute to a beat-down of ACHS. The Spartans gave away size in the match up but their accuracy from behind the arc befuddled the Blue and Gold.
Luke Daniels came off the bench to lead the visitors with 23 points including a perfect 7 of 7 from three-point range.
The cold shooting Cougars turned the ball over 26 times. Central Davidson converted those turnovers into 38 points.
Chad Lasher led 2-1 ACHS with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
