You Know They’re Laughing At The Iredell County Jail

An 18-year-old from Statesville has been charged with stealing a street sweeper, he didn’t get far.

Statesville Police spotted the stolen vehicle traveling on East Broad Street. It had been taken from a construction site.

Camden Tomlin Cleo McClain of N Bost ST. was taken into custody along with a female juvenile who was “along for the ride.”

The charges include

Felony larceny from a construction site
Felony larceny of a motor vehicle
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor

McClain was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000.
