Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies made a pair of felony drug arrestes on Saturday May 1st following the report of a suspicious vehicle north of Taylorsville. Deputies spotted the vehicle on Highway 16 and observed it was displaying a fictitious license plate. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Taken into custody
35-year old Willard David Wilson of Taylorsville. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $15,000. 33-year old Jay C. Wilson of Taylorsville. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $12,000.Both suspects were scheduled for court appearances on Monday, May 3rd in Alexander County District Court in Taylorsville.
