Taylorsville Police Charge Man With Felony Patient Abuse

The Taylorsville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has obtained felony patient abuse warrants for Jonathan Philip Cook, 35, of South Fork Drive, Morganton. The charges follow an investigation into an incident at Valley Nursing Center in Taylorsville.

The investigation involved a resident who sustained a fractured femur during patient care.

Cook was arrested on Saturday, August 24th by Morganton Public Safety.
