A Maiden teen is being held on charges of assault. 19-year-old Keyondre Trivezz Weems was arrested Saturday by Newton Police on charges of assault on a female and assault on a child under the age of 12. Weems is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center without bond pending a court appearance on Monday.
