Cassandra Ann Barrera, age 25 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday April 5th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was served a warrant for probation violation in Iredell County. Barrera also has charges pending in Iredell County for felony trafficking in opium or heroin and felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises. She is being held in the Alexander County Jail under a secured bond of $60,000. A May 8th court date is scheduled in Alexander County District Court and a May 3rd date in Iredell County.
