45-year old Misty Dawn Childers of Taylorsville was arrested on Wednesday, August 3rd by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with one count of misdemeanor child abuse. Childers was released from custody after posting a $7,500 secured bond. A September 12th court date is scheduled.
