Justin Dean Cook, age 24 of Conover, was arrested on Sunday by Taylorsville Police Officers. He was served a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The charge originated in Catawba County. Cook was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and transferred to the Catawba County Jail on Monday. He is being held under a $4,500 bond and has an October 25th court appearance scheduled in Newton.
