Taser Used To Subdue Taylorsville Suspect

Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies had to deploy a taser before taking a man into custody early Friday morning.

43-year-old Jeremy Scott Oxentine, Fox Valley CT., Taylorsville, is charged with larceny, second-degree trespass, damage to personal property and resisting a public officer. According to the arrest documentation, Oxentine refused to cooperate with Deputies. After shoving an arresting officer, a taser was deployed.

Oxentine is no longer listed in custody after posting a secured bond in the amount of $7,000. A December 7th court date is listed.
