Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Caldwell County This Morning

A pedestrian was struck and killed in Caldwell County this morning. The incident was reported on Clarks Chapel Road near Tarheel Place around 7am. The North Carolina Highway Patrol and Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case as a hit and run. The suspect vehicle was found this morning abandoned at a location not revealed. The name of the victim has not been released.
