Noble Named Alexander Central Cross Country Coach

Alexander Central High School is pleased to announce that Leanna Noble has been hired as the new Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Head Coach.

Noble has been employed with Alexander County Schools for 15 years and currently serves as an 8th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at East Alexander Middle School. Coach Noble has previous coaching experience at the middle school level where she served for seven years as an Assistant Track and Field Coach.

Alexander Central High School Athletic Director Nathan Robinson commented on the hiring of Noble by saying “I look forward to seeing what Coach Noble can do with our Cross Country teams and how she can help our student-athletes compete and grow in their running abilities. She will bring plenty of enthusiasm and excitement to the program to help energize the athletes.”

Noble commented on her new position by saying “It is a great honor to have the opportunity to serve as the Head Cross Country Coach at ACHS! I believe that coaches play an integral role in the lives of athletes, and I hope to be a positive influence to help my team to continue with the core values of “Blue Collar, Gold Standards” that will propel them in all aspects of their lives.
