William “Todd” Herms
Some have suggested that Herms was either no longer employed by the county or on leave. He was not in the office on Wednesday.
Alexander County Public Information Officer Gary Herman said he was instructed to direct all inquiries to the County Attorney Ben Faulkenberry.
When contacted, Faulkenberry said in a conversation on Wednesday, “ I cannot provide comment on a confidential personell issue pursuant to law.” When asked if Herms was still employed by the county, Faulkenberry said again he “could not comment.”
Alexander County Commission Co-Chair Larry Yoder was contacted and he also stated that he could not comment on the matter.
Herms was named manager in June of 2024. He began his duties on August 12th, 2024.
